This shows how many runs the player’s team scored in innings where the player led off the inning – also when he batted second, third, fourth, etc. Keep in mind that the team’s runs per inning will almost always be higher when a player fourth or later, compared to when he batted first/second/third – this is because, if someone is batting fourth in an inning, it means that at least one of the first three hitters reached base.
