Hitter Analysis provides a breakdown of a player’s approach at the plate, including pitch-level results (strikes taken, swings and misses, etc.) and batted ball types (GB, LD, FB). Players are grouped by swing tendencies (very patient, patient, neutral, aggressive, very aggressive) and batted ball tendencies (ground, medium, air). This report shows players in a league for a season; for individual player breakdowns by season, see Batting Profiles. Data goes back as far as 2002.
